artist residency program

Renew your creativity and immerse yourself in your practice away from the distractions of daily life in a beautiful natural setting.

The Kiyooka Land Trust Foundation Art Residency Program is situated on a 72 acre protected nature reserve in TĂȘte Jaune Cache, BC, surrounded by the Monashee, Premier and Rocky Mountain ranges and bordering the Fraser River. Artists are invited to develop new work on their own in this creative and inspiring setting or engage in collaborative projects. The residency program is open to artists at all stages of their career, whether emerging or established. The objective is to provide a live/work space and time for artists, in multiple disciplines, to strengthen their practice and deeply engage in their work. We welcome visual artists, writers, musicians, photographers, and performance artists. The vision of the Kiyooka Land Trust Art Residency Program is to provide artists with the space, time, and  opportunity to create and be inspired in and by the natural setting. Priority will be given to artists whose creative projects explore the intersection of the creative process and ecological well-being, and to Indigenous artists.
