gathering spaces

KLTF fosters connection between people and nature. Located in Tête Jaune Cache, BC we offer meeting and accommodation space for community groups, environmental field research teams, and artists whose purposes align with the mission and vision of KLTF. We also welcome guests for short term stays. In this beautiful setting surrounded by the Monashee, Cariboo and Rocky mountains, we help cultivate sustainable and creative community where we live in harmony with the natural world. The guest house is simply furnished, includes accommodation for up to 10 guests, features a fully equipped kitchen, an open concept living area, and a large multi-purpose studio space. It has passive solar design elements and a composting toilet system.

“The people who went are still beaming and so grateful for this opportunity they had. The Kiyooka Land Trust is a perfect place for our newcomers…the nature around and the comfort of the house is just amazing”--I.Schmid, CSS Newcomers Program Co-ordinator

“We had a lovely time at the guest house.  There were 8 ladies, ages 30+ to 80+, and all thought the venue charming, very clean and pleasant.  The kitchen is well stocked and the cooks were happy.  We enjoyed a pleasant walk by the river and along the trail behind the house.  We felt we could have handled a considerably larger group, and plan ask for another weekend in the spring.”–women’s retreat group
